A comfortable base for your Gun Lake trip
Here is what to expect, how booking works, and the few rules that keep the stay enjoyable for everyone.
The RV
A stationary RV that stays in place for your whole visit. There is nothing to tow, level, or hook up. Just arrive and settle in.
The setting
Sun Retreats Gun Lake is a seasonal campground in Hopkins, Michigan, with easy access to Gun Lake and the surrounding West Michigan outdoors.
Pets
Up to two dogs are welcome per reservation. The pet fee is $40 for one dog or $60 for two, subject to campground and insurer requirements.
Booking & taxes
Paid reservations are handled through Airbnb, Vrbo, or another approved booking platform, so payments and applicable taxes are collected through the platform.
Plan ahead
Please allow at least four days before arrival. Shorter-notice stays may be possible with campground approval and timely guest registration.
Campground access
Guests must follow resort rules for occupancy, parking, pets, quiet hours, and amenities. Resort registration is required before arrival.
House rules
Small things that make a big difference
These rules protect the RV, the campground, and your fellow guests. Thanks for helping us keep the stay comfortable for everyone.
- No smoking or vaping inside. This applies to guests and owners alike.
- Two dogs maximum. Dogs must be leashed, waste must be removed, and dogs may not be left unattended in the RV.
- No cats. The current property policy does not allow cats, subject to legally required accommodations.
- No golf cart. The golf cart is not included in the rental and is not authorized for guest use.
- Respect the resort. Follow posted occupancy, parking, quiet-hour, and amenity rules.
- Report issues promptly. Let us know about damage or anything that needs attention so we can help.
